Hello Fellow travelers, this is my Kuala Lumpur guide, i hope it will be helpful and answer all the question you have in mind.
Let’s start with the basics how to get from the airport to your hotel ?
The cheapest way to go your hotel from the airport is the train that goes to KLS metro and train station (Kuala Lumpur Sentral) and from there you can go where ever you want with the metro or the monorail.
If you want to take a taxi, you can choose one of the taxi companies in the airport, you give them the address and pay in advance at the counter.
Where to stay in Kuala Lumpur ?
KLCC
It all depends on your budget if you have a Budget of 100 USD and more, you can stay in one of the big hotels in the centre like the Traders Hotel.
Brickfield
If you have small budget like mine (25-30) USD you can go to Brickfield next to the little india and KLS metro station. It was a really good location since I was able to go everywhere from KLS without spending any money on taxis. You find several small budget hotels, i was in this little nice hotel facing the Nu Sentral mall, it was small but very nice and so clean.

Bukit Bintang
Bukit Bintang is in the city centre, i stayed there with a budget of 40 USD but it was too noisy.
Now that you found a hotel for yourself, you must be starving if you decided to stay in brickfield you will be so lucky cause little india is just few meters away if you want to enjoy some delicious indian food. If you don’t like indian food, no problem! there is a big mall (NU Sentral) facing your hotel with all kinds of food or you can try some malaysian food (Nasi Kandar) in small local restaurants by your hotel so Bon appétit.

If you are staying in the centre there is a lot of restaurants everywhere but you should definitely go to Jolan Jalan street in Bukit Bintang area it has a lot of chinese and Thai food very yummy.

Also if you want to have some drinks there is several nice little bars next to Bukit bintang street with good happy hour offers.
Here is your first day in Kuala Lumpur.
So what to do in Kuala Lumpur ?
Petronas towers
well Kuala Lumpur is famous for it Petronas towers the world’s highest twin towers, and yes it’s worth it the view on Kuala Lumpur is AMAZING! I was impressed by this malaysian symbol of modernisation.
How to get there ? It’s easy you should take the KLCC metro line ( Kuala Lumpur City Centre) when you get off the metro station the first thing you will see is the the twin towers.

KLCC Park
While you are next to the Petronas towers you can visit the KLCC park, walk or sit there to take a break and breath peacefully.

Batu Caves
It was the best attraction for me in KL, one of the biggest Hindu temples i’ve ever seen.
How to go there ? Take the metro to Batu caves station and Voilà.
Be careful batu caves is a big place and it gets crowded in the afternoon, it has a lot of monkeys everywhere and they are not afraid of humans, so better not carry any food in your bag cause the monkeys will probably come to you. In case you want to feed the monkeys don’t give them any junk food, you can buy some bananas or any kind of fruit near the temple.
To get to the top temple your need to climb 270 steps, but it’s a nice challenge.

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
Kuala Lumpur has the world biggest bird park, the park is really big that it takes you almost the whole day to get there and to visit it.
How to get there ? You have to take the metro line that goes to the old rail station and from there you have to walk you way up to the hill where the park is located ( you will see sings that will indicate you the location).
Some birds were in cages like eagles and ostriches, but most of them were not, i got really scared while walking in the parrot area they were a little bit excited but i keep a good memory of the bird park.
Kuala lumpur Menara
A very high menara from where you can see Kuala Lumpur, but since i’ve visited Petronas towers in the morning time i decided to go to the Kuala lumpur menara at night and the view was absolutely worth it.
You can also have diner at the menara tower but you will have to make a reservation in advance.
Chinatown and Little India
I went there mostly for the food, but i did a little bit of shopping in Little India. I didn’t like chinatown that much so many fake shops trying to scam tourists and pulling you to their stores, but there was some nice little restaurants.
